On 1st August Hon'ble Chief Minister chaired the administrative review meeting at Chopra, North Dinajpur. In the meeting, she enquired about the ongoing projects in the district. She announced rehabilitation for the shopkeepers and land owners who would lose their properties due to the Islampur Bypass road and said that a medical college will come up at Raiganj within the next two years. In addition to that, an ITI centre, a minority Bhawan and ICDS centers among many others have been set up in Uttar Dinajpur. She urged the residents to cooperate for the Islampur Bypass which would shorten travel time between Siliguri and Kolkata thereby benefitting all. The CM also announced that work order for the Dalkhola Bypass has already been handed out.
